Bin Service for Toronto Restaurants, Shops and Workplaces

Restaurants, Cafés and Bars

Closing duties and collection schedules do not always line up. Arrange bin placement and return separately from your staff roster, with clear instructions for kitchen waste storage, laneway access and any cardboard handling you need.

An agreed collection point and permitted set-out window also help reduce the risk of blocked sidewalks, bylaw complaints and fines.

Shops, Offices and Other Businesses

Give staff one less opening or closing task. We return bins to the agreed storage area after collection, so someone does not need to make a special trip solely to bring them in.

We’ll Work Out the Bin-Day Details With You

From shared laneways to locked bin enclosures, we’ll help arrange a routine that works for your property. Tell us your pickup days, bin sizes and how to access the storage area.

We’ll confirm the moving route, any keys or codes needed, and how to secure the area afterward. Need cardboard handling or have several collection days? We can review those details together and include the agreed work in your quote.

How Waste Mate Works

We Roll Your Bins Out the Evening Before

We place your scheduled bins at the collection point the evening before pickup, within the permitted window—taking one more task off your team’s list.

Your Collection Provider Empties the Bins

Your collection provider empties the scheduled bins. We follow your business's confirmed collection calendar, including holiday adjustments.

We Return Your Bins the Same Day After Pickup

After pickup, we return your bins to their agreed storage area that same day, so staff don’t need to make a separate trip to bring them in.

FAQ: Commercial Garbage Bin Management in Toronto

Can you handle cardboard as well as bins?

Cardboard handling is available by arrangement. Tell us whether boxes will already be flattened or whether you need breakdown and bundling included, so the work can be assessed and quoted.

Can you move large commercial containers?

Large or heavy wheeled containers require an assessment of their size, weight and moving route. Front-end dumpsters, compactors and roll-off containers are outside this bin-moving service. Send details of your setup so we can confirm suitability.

What if our business has several collection days each week?

Provide all pickup days and any separate collection windows. Multiple collection days need a custom quote so the price reflects the required placement and return visits. Our bin service pricing guide explains what can affect the price.

Can you cover more than one business location?

Yes. Each address is reviewed for its own collection schedule, bins and access requirements. We confirm coverage and pricing for each location before it is added.
